@odrotbohm @sergialmar @OpenRewrite Good feedback, thanks! I'll move it from the default 3.2 upgrade to our Spring 3.x best practices instead, such that it's more of an active choice to run that recipe together with other optional improvements.

@sergialmar @OpenRewrite I’ve seen tons of applications in which the now all of a sudden unbounded parallelism has lead to deadlocks due to exhausted numbers of file handles or overloads in downstream systems. I don’t think it should be activated automatically.

I've been updating an old application from one of my clients from Spring Boot 2.3 to Spring Boot 3.4 with @OpenRewrite. Smooth process (kind of, looking at you Axis2), I love how it automatically enabled virtual threads.
