In a better country people like Johnson and Gove would be in prison.

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been found to have breached the UK's Business Appointment Rules by failing to cooperate with an investigation into his use of official contacts for private commercial activities in the Gulf states This follows his earlier violations of COVID-19 lockdown regulations, involving multiple parties and gatherings at Downing Street, while most of the rest of the country followed the rules Why do politicians who repeatedly flout these rules face no meaningful repercussions? Is this really the quality of democracy we want to live in?
