@vardi You are wrong. By doing this, you also deprive new students from networking. Schools don't accept funding being spent on sending students to workshops. A student works hard to get accepted by a conference. How many connections have you made by the very thing you are opposing?

Going back to the pre-pandemic conference-travel culture is simply not morally acceptable. cacm.acm.org/magazines/2023…

@JordiRib1 WHat is the point if it doesn't run on any modern brohsers? It doesn't run on @googlechrome , @brave or @firefox . And no one uses Edge.

You’re a public figure. An extremely controversial and powerful one.
I get feeling unsafe, but descending into abuse of power + erratically banning journalists only increases the intensity around you.
Take a beat and lay off the proto-fascism. Maybe try putting down your phone.

@micsolana They posted my exact real-time location, basically assassination coordinates, in (obvious) direct violation of Twitter terms of service

@johnpavlovitz @elonmusk Speaking againt monarchy hot twitter accounts banned. No longer the case. Now it is truly free speed. It means, learn to accept other's openions too.

@elonmusk Twitter free speech and your stock right now is 💩💩💩.
English

@bennyjohnson sometime back, twitter banned all free speech. Speaking against monarchy was banned. Apparently now twitter is unsafe. What mockery is this?

@GergelyOrosz Top decision makers at Twitter suppressed people long enough. Perhaps, their ideologies need to be gone. I feel sad for lower level staff if they would be fired.

It’s happening: since Elon Musk bought Twitter he has not communicated officially with employees (email, town hall). Now the major firings have started (expected to be ~50%).
My timeline is filled with great people let go. Some of these layoffs are likely breaking regulations.

What Elon Musk is doing with Twitter employees - and what all the other external advisors are assisting to - is deliberately cruel. I'd have some compassion if it was a company fighting for its life. But it's not. Never meet your heroes - or see them up close.
