In 1991, guided by the principles instilled in me by my Irish grandparents, I joined many of my colleagues in silently protesting Queen Elizabeth II's address to Congress. Today, guided by those same principles, I look forward to attending King Charles' speech, as we acknowledge the significant progress that has been made on the island of Ireland over the last 35 years, highlighted by the establishment of the Good Friday Agreement. I look forward to continuing our work with all parties in both the British and Irish governments, ensuring a peaceful and prosperous future can be enjoyed for generations to come.

@BelTel @AllisonMorris1 They aren’t dissidents. They’ve stuck to the original doctrine of the provos. It’s comical that, after yet another attack by republican terrorists, you still manage to point the finger at the Brits.

“I don’t choose weapons of war over people” This woman was in favour of the PIRA using human beings as bombs.
Cool FM News@newsoncool

🚫🗣NEW: NI £50m defence deal - ‘I don’t choose weapons of war over people. I’d choose to invest differently.’ First Minister @moneillsf says she did not attend the launch of a £50 million boost for Northern Ireland’s defence sector because she does not support the “militarisation agenda”. Speaking to Chief Reporter @jamesgould23, she said she will never choose “weapons of war over people”. The Northern Ireland Defence Growth Deal, launched by the UK Government, will see investment in tech companies and start-ups to help them enter the defence supply chain. The Government says the initiative will support hundreds of jobs. Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly did attend the event and said: 'We live in an ever more dangerous world that requires strong defence. The threats are real. 'When others are absent, I will always be there to champion our business and our people.'

Republicans often describe unionists as uncompromising and entrenched. But just look at the state of this. 15% is a joke to begin with, but to press ahead even though the measly 15% threshold has not been met. This is the party who leads the charge for Irish unity.
