Due to capacity constraints at some venues, along with the expected demand from clubs, the opening three rounds will be distributed through county boards to ensure fair and equitable access for counties.

Munster SHC Ticket Update for Supporters 🚨
Munster GAA have confirmed the ticketing arrangements for the 2026 Munster Senior Hurling Championship, and there’s an important detail for supporters planning ahead.
🎟 Rounds 1–3 tickets will be sold through the County Boards only.
This decision has been made due to limited capacity at some venues and the expected huge demand, particularly with major clashes involving counties like Tipperary, Cork and Limerick.
That means if you want to attend the early games, including the Round 1 clash between Tipperary and Cork in FBD Semple Stadium, your county board will be the primary route to secure tickets.
📅 Key dates for the championship:
Round 1 – April 19
Clare v Waterford – Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg (2pm)
Tipperary v Cork – FBD Semple Stadium (4pm)
Round 2 – April 26
Cork v Limerick – SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh (2pm)
Waterford v Tipperary – Walsh Park (4pm)
Round 3 – May 3 / May 9
Clare v Limerick – Páirc Chíosóg
Waterford v Cork – Walsh Park
➡️ Any unused county allocations will go on general public sale the Wednesday before the game.
📢 Rounds 4 and 5 will go on general public sale from April 8th, while counties will still receive allocations for those fixtures.
With Munster Championship demand always massive, Tipperary supporters should keep a close eye on county board channels and club communications for ticket distribution details.
🔥 The road through Munster is about to begin. Who’s getting tickets?

The global energy crisis is quietly becoming a massive problem for GAA clubs.
Floodlights.
Clubhouse heating.
Hot showers.
Gym facilities.
Some clubs are paying €70–€80 per hour just to run generators for lights.
That’s not sustainable for volunteer-run organisations.
In the latest THE VIEW, Noel Dundon asks a big question:
Why aren’t GAA clubs becoming energy hubs for their communities?
Solar panels on clubhouses.
Electricity buy-back to the grid.
EV charging points at club grounds.
It could actually turn clubs into energy producers instead of energy consumers.
The piece also reflects on the postponed Tipperary v Waterford NHL clash and the league run-in ahead.

The 2026 Tipperary Minor squad is IN 🔥
James Woodlock and his management team have confirmed the panel for this year’s Munster Championship campaign.
For these young players, this is what it’s all about. Pulling on the blue and gold. Representing family, parish and county.
We’re wishing every one of them, their parents and their clubs the very best of luck in the Munster Minor Hurling Championship.
The journey starts now 💙💛

Tipperary senior hurling manager Liam Cahill cut a figure of sober realism on Saturday night, acknowledging that the National Final has drifted beyond the Premier County’s reach like a ship slipping from its moorings.
