NGC 3344 A galaxy about half the size of our Milky Way and located 24'000'000 light-years away. I took pictures the last four nights and had many challenges: The Moon was nearby and dust spots - despite flats.

The last four months of awful night weather... here's one of my photos of M13. I'm currently recording NGC3344. CS

Got some galaxy backlog. Currently imaging... This is the unmasked truth about imaging. You get doghnouts and you will take care of them later with flats, darks, bias. GN 👾

Jupiter on April 23rd. A brief spell of reasonable seeing around sundown again. Similar to last night in a handful of captures were good quality - actually better than i expected which is always a nice surprise. Perhaps most notable in the small STrZ ring is now very faint. I almost missed it initially. The SEB is in a very settled condition at these longitudes. Two prominent white rifts are present in the NEB and SEBn.

My capture of the comet C/2025 R3 (PanSTARRS). This comet was discovered in September 2025, and it is at its brightest right now, potentially visible to the naked eye in dark skies before sunrise in the east. I used my Celestron RASA telescope and ZWO ASI533MC color camera.
