A big well done to James Howitt from Sampford Peverell Primary School for winning my first Xmas card competition. It was great to see so much enthusiasm and creativity on show across over 200 entries! I loved James’ design and can’t wait to share it with my friends and family.

Was great to stop by the ‘Re-Rooted’ cafe yesterday. It’s a great community initiative, ran by Sustainable Tiverton, that aims to stop food going to waste and ensure everyone gets a warm nutritious meal. Do check it out! sustainabletiverton.org.uk/rerooted/

Held my first in-person surgery this morning. Big thanks to @BeehiveHoniton for hosting us. Was great to chat to people face to face and be able to get straight to work helping them. I’m planning more surgeries across the constituency soon - so keep your eyes peeled for info!

This morning spoke to @CalumAM on @TimesRadio about the shocking levels of sewage being dumped into our rivers and beaches - including several Blue Flag beaches in Devon. The Govt has taken their eye off the ball for years and must now clamp down on this illegal behaviour.

.@sascampaigns new report reveals the scale of illegal sewage dumps from negligent water companies. With my son becoming ill after swimming in a local river, this is personal for me. Today I raised the report in Parliament and called for a debate on how we stop this behaviour.
