You see a lot of this online but there is no one offseason solution to catch up with the Spurs & OKC They didn’t build their teams like that and neither will anyone else It was years that included smart drafting, tanking when needed, sticking to a system, trusting your development, LUCK and timely but not excessive trades and free agent signings Trading away depth to add a star isn’t going to get a team like Minnesota or others that are close over the hump You have to limit mistakes when you’re building it from the ground up
