A Man Utd fan just texted me saying he was delighted they didn’t hammer Liverpool yesterday — because he wants Slot to stay next season. He reckons Slot’s football is identical to Ten Hag’s. Yet some Liverpool fans still back him, and not a single pundit or journalist is calling for him to be sacked. How much evidence do they need to see he is out of his depth??? Utter madness.

It is the issue. Mentality is the issue here. Standards on the floor. Laxity, indiscipline, sheer laziness have become our culture under Slot. You are struggling to qualify for UCL and you are going on vacation between games. The coach and captain have not shown they are committed to a culture of excellence. I am sorry.

@PhilColins_O Liverpool literally won the league in 2020 after 27games, they never went on vacation.
Slot won last season after the Spurs game, they went partying in Dubai only to return and won 0 in 4games.
They had the opportunity to finish with 96points but settled for a woeful 84points.
