Thank you, Home School South Dakota, for hosting us today.
17 days until the most important election in our state's history.
My opponents are spending their time, energy, MONEY, and surrogates attacking each other and me.
I continue to travel the state, holding open discussions with you and your families about ways to make South Dakota stronger, safer, and more affordable.
I appreciate the support of each and every one of you. Continue to help us spread the word.
South Dakota's brightest days are ahead.

In short:
My plan is to create a state fund that would reimburse property owners for owner occupied property taxes.
We fund this program through several measures:
1. Targeted cuts as part of DOGE. (DOGE will audit both state and local entities)
2. External revenue. (Targeted consumption tax, liquor, tourists, PE firms buying up residential property, other sin industries, out of state trust holders.)
3. Economic growth. (Our revenue has flatlined for the last three years. Spending has increased by 40% over that same period.)
I am opposed to a state income tax.
$700,000,000 in property tax relief I would look to offer initially.
Based on my research and the folks I have hired to begin working on this, there is $900,000,000 in DOGE money to allocate alone. Separate of external revenue.
I could go deeper on this.
I am the only candidate committed to making South Dakota a more affordable place to live.
I hope to earn you support.
@pjost10 I fought very hard against the carbon sequestration pipeline, as did thousands of South Dakotans. Eminent domain should never be used for private gain. As Governor, I will continue to fight against projects that attack our state and our God given constitutional rights.
Dusty Johnson, Larry Rhoden, and Jon Hansen are weak on crime career politicians.
Together, they worked to pass one of the most progressive bills in our state’s history, releasing thousands of criminals and offenders back onto our streets.
As Governor, I will have ZERO tolerance for criminals or criminal activity. If you commit a crime, you will pay a hefty price.
Praying for President Trump and all those in attendance of the White House Correspondence Dinner.
Those who lack substance will always resort to violence.
Very sad.
Career politicians have no plan to grow our economy.
My opponents will continue to TAX and SPEND.
It is all they know how to do.
I have spent my career in business, NOT government.
I will grow our economy, and utilize that growth to make your life easier.
Career politicians just passed the largest tax increase in South Dakota history.
Now, these same career politicians want to be Governor.
It is ridiculous.
I am the only candidate with a plan to Make South Dakota AFFORDABLE Again.
I will eliminate taxes on groceries, baby items, school supplies, and other household necessities.
AND, yes, I will begin the tedious process of eliminating unjust and unconstitutional property taxes for South Dakota residents.
A vote for me is a vote for a more fair, more AFFORDABLE South Dakota.
Larry Rhoden raised taxes on our farmers and ranchers.
My plan cuts taxes for them and everyone else in South Dakota.
I will never turn my back on the people who have worked so hard to support our South Dakota economy.
I was opposed to the last $650M they spent on this. We are a land rich state with not that many prisoners.
1. If they are illegal deport them.
2. If they are an addict, get them help and off the Government $$$.
3. If they are a violent criminal? I don’t care how nice their living conditions are.
@TobyForSD But will you build 8 billion prison beds? Larry won't stop until there's a prison cell in South Dakota for every man, woman, and child on Earth.
