Cynthia Nixon calls on people to “stand together against the hate” while lighting Hanukkah candles. The pro-Palestine actress has said she found it “painful” to light the candles following the terror attack in Australia, which took place on the first day of Hanukkah. The anti-Israel activist was slammed in some of the comments under her Instagram video with some Instagram users accusing her of spreading anti-Israel rhetoric over the past 2 years. One user said “the absolute audacity of this post” while another called her a “hypocrite” and another said her “hateful words may have contributed to the antisemitism we see everywhere.”

@GordonBerridge @piersmorgan Well, I stood for Parliament at the age of 22 and had been active in politics from 17 and I certainly wasn’t indoctrinated nor controlled. So, I might politely suggest you might well be wrong and are purely speaking for yourself.

Indeed. It’s a terrible idea. Who, over the age of 25, can honestly hold their hands up and say they knew a thing about anything between 16-25 yrs old? Let alone being able to cogently decipher the legitimacy and validity of one political party’s ability to govern a country better than another? Granted there are also plenty of people older that can’t make a useful decision but this unnecessary and just utter madness. It serves one purpose and one purpose only - to indoctrinate and control.

@iamnot_elon He’s not. The British (English/Scottish/Northern Irish) Courts are. Perhaps you should learn about the separation of powers? It’s a pillar of all liberal democracies. Maybe you should ask the judiciary why they are jailing them? Or perhaps just read the judgements?

Anti-Israel encampments at Australians universities must be dismantled. We call on the Federal Education Minister, state education ministers and Vice-Chancellors to take immediate action to ensure the safety of all students and staff. A failure to do so risks permanently degrading the reputation of our world class university sector and turning campuses into no-go areas for Jewish students and academics.  Statement by ECAJ president Daniel Aghion KC.

This is how Shani Louk's family asked for her to be remembered. Smiling and alive. The biggest photojournalism competition in the world decided to trample on the family's wishes in favor of giving a photo of Shani's mutilated body a prestigious award. She wasn't even named in the caption. Among the photographers honored is Ali Mahmud, the AP freelancer who came under fire for logging photos during the early hours of October 7th, indicating previous knowledge of Hamas's brutal attack. Photos showing violence and death can be newsworthy or important when they humanize the dead or galvanize the public. The "winning" photo does neither; it only further dehumanizes Shani, retraumatizes her family, and legitimizes Hamas's actions under the guise of journalistic neutrality. No one should be rewarded on the backs of murdered women. Rest in power Shani Louk, we'll remember you as the beautiful soul you were.

@nicolelampert @metpoliceuk When I see police officers conduct themselves like this against anti-Hamas protesters, whilst leaving those who openly support a proscribed terror organisation allowed to make trouble on our streets, I’m just glad I no longer live in the U.K.

This Iranian hero was arrested after he was attacked because he held up a placard saying ‘Hamas is terrorist’. Police took him away from a violent mob who cried ‘shame’ at his placard. The placard which is UK govt policy. He has now been ‘de-arrested’ but the Hamas supporters who attacked him and cried ‘shame’ were not arrested.

I participated in a joint Mongolian and International Chamber press conference a week ago in Ulaanbaatar. Seems my heartfelt comments hit a nerve and have gone almost viral in Mongolia both between those who want to progress the new Investment Law in Mongolia and those who don’t.

Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that. @POTUS this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate. Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslims Americans like me. We will remember where you stood.
Dr. Omar Suleiman@omarsuleiman

Dear world, Israel just bombed a Christian hospital in Gaza and murdered over 500 Palestinian civilians. White phosphorus chemical bombs confirmed by human rights watch was not enough to open your eyes. Over 1000 dead children wasn’t enough. Will you open your eyes and act now?

@thetimes Compliance Dept at the bank will most likely have reviewed his accounts and found some serious concerns. Despite his PEP status, such decisions are not taken lightly. The wider interests of the British public, the reputation of the bank, and regulatory fines may be factors.
