Race weekends are quite frankly, awesome! Here’s some highlights from our recent race weekend at @Brands_Hatch on our @Se_Railway home turf.

@geeky_paul It’s a nice way to travel for sure. The engineering of these trains/infrastructure still blows my mind.

Please, just take care over user worked crossings. I’ve had a near miss recently with a dog walker and it is absolutely frightening. Like Network Rail mentioned, always concentrate at level crossings. Sharing this to give perspective 👇🏻

Brands Hatch RACE WEEK! Time for the final @BTCC round of the season. The bobble hat returns, as I’ll be cheering on @toby_trice in the supporting Porsche Sprint Challenge GB. I’ve also got my second track walk of the year on Saturday evening too! #BobbleArmy #GetYourBobbleOn

@EdNigma558 More likely the former as there was a tight schedule to energise the yard for the evening service. Great day out and lots to do.

@toby_trice It was ok, but by the time we got to do that sidings walk it was closed. One person told me it was because they needed to turn the power back on, and some else said it was it was getting too hot in the shed

@geeky_paul Not quite 😅 but for the huge weight, it’s quite impressive. Yes, for a 6 car formation when you raise the pantograph, the rear will raise. So usually when travelling down from London you’ll see it at the front. However occasionally we change it for various reasons.

@toby_trice Pull almost as quick as Cayman RS in full Trice-mode? :) Quick geeky question... is it always the rear pantograph up (from direction of travel) rather than the leading one?

@geeky_paul The performance change is incredible in reality too. Get a 12 car on 25kv and they pull so well.

@toby_trice Yeah, 750 DC just doesn't cut it compared to 25kv AC 😀

On a brighter note, this is my flying through turn one during testing. I got it right 120+ times…
