Got finished with my first draft of the second book. No this is not a typo, will release the books together as one larger book. That took a minute. Lots of overtime stalling me, but I got this finished. Approximately 60% the way done with the secret project.

Got finished with my first draft. I feel like I just crossed a big mental barrier. Also some big life events came and went, so I’m more mentally in it now. Approximately 55% the way done with the secret project now. Rewrites and edits, maybe even another draft now.

@Anon1234468 @uncle_deluge Loebs contain two pages, the original text on the left, and the translation text on the right. Before these books there were few translations of many classical texts. A Loeb was an admission of stupidity. Now knowing any amount of classical languages, even poorly, is prestigious.

The used Loeb Classics market is all screwed up. People selling used copies for as much as a new one. Often more, especially when shipping is factored in. Why would you bother?

Having now read half of The Camp of the Saints, I can now say it was suppressed and restricted in many countries and languages, not because it was offensive, but because it was accurate, though gratuitously graphic at times. Perhaps this was an explanation.
