🍸 Big shift in America: A new Gallup poll (July 2025) shows only 54% of U.S. adults now drink alcohol - the lowest level in nearly 90 years. Down from 58% last year. Those who do drink are averaging just 2.8 drinks per week (lowest since 1996). The biggest drops are among people under 35, women, lower-income groups, and Republicans. More Americans (53% overall, nearly 2/3 of young adults) now see even moderate drinking as harmful to health. Wellness culture is winning.

Pallbearers and attendees are being sought for the funeral of 98-year-old WW2 veteran John Bernard Arnold III, who died on May 6th with no living relatives. Visitation will be this Monday, May 18th at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson, Massachusetts at 10am.
