Do you document your code when you're working on your own? 🤔

Hi folks, next week I'll have to show my new company website project to our CEO, before that I'd like to collect some valuable feedbacks from professionals out there: anything you think might be improved/fixed/... Thanks in advance #threejs #vuejs #nuxt #gsap (Link in the next)

The future of programming seems to be hitting a split with two types of programmers: On one hand you'll have the "classically trained" swe, the guy that did a bachelor and masters in CS/math at Stanford, codeforces, IOI. More theoretical knowledge, cruises through job interviews, deep in in the weeds, longer path to learning, a bit more rigid. On the other hand you'll have the "self taught" crowd, like a great musician who couldn't ever read sheet music. This would be more like the levels io crowd - never did a leetcode problem, but doesn't need to, he has Claude. Won't rewrite his server in c because he's focused on customers and making money. Gaps in knowledge are there but he works around. Much more business focused. Most people will be somewhere in the middle - sit for a few minutes and think about which side you lean towards, and how you can use that to your advantage.

Anyone else just design in code as they build instead of mocking stuff out in Figma?

@colmtuite It's wild how you *can't* look at a thing a designer built because IT DOESNT EXIST 🤓

It's wild how you can look at a thing a developer designed and instantly know a developer designed it. It's like you all got together and agreed on how to make things look ugly af but in a very specific way.
