I've always interpreted this screenshot as - because it was during the pilots release - mean that you won't see anyone who is abstracted come back to life on screen. cause if she said "yes" then people would expect someone to recover on screen. but nobody will.

Bridget is a very funny case to me because the whole "i want to prove myself as a man to go against the identity society imposed onto me" thing worked way better as trans representation than straight up transitioning the character

I think i've seen more vegans offended by the concept of eating pork than muslims, as a muslim who goes out to muslim gatherings and talks with other muslims. if a friend of mine eats pork it basically has the same effect as if I wasn't muslim and my friend eats pork.
