One detail I left out of this: We found a cenote 20 minutes from the hotel zone with no signs, no ticket booth, no other tourists. Just a rope swing and water so clear you could see the bottom 40 feet down. That cenote has an Instagram page now. That's Tulum. That's why you go before the algorithm finds it. 🌿
