Upon being formally invited to the AVAX Summit both Toku and his owner Felix set aside time and effort to make the trip out. Arranging to meet with persons of interest for photo opps, discuss potential collaborations and mingle with the overall community- their trip was cut short. Upon arrival, an already frustrated event coordinator (whose name we have and are considering doxxing, but don't wish to be petty) approached Felix and began angrily demanding to know why the same dog that had attended various other cryptocurrency events earlier in the year was once again present. Taken aback, Felix (of whom has been a pillar of the industry since 2017) was confused, taken aback and effectively threatened. Explaining that Toku had been invited to the event and that he was there to support him and his token- said coordinator (seemingly a utility token grifter) became all the more angry upon realizing that Toku’s token was a promising meme. Furious, he demanded that Toku and Felix leave, citing health codes and going so far as to suggest that Felix was abusing his animal. Keep in mind, Toku is a rescue. A once shy-boy whose courage, through the love and support of Felix, fostered him into a completely different dog. Rest assured, there is no dog out there living a better life than Toku who in Felix’ own words: “lives like a King and is like a son to him.” It's become apparent, at this point in the industry, that utility token bag holders are prepared to wage war on meme tokens that they feel threatened by. Going so far as to uninvite members of an event, citing petty health code conducts and bylaws. This will not stand. Such injustice will be met with nothing shy of further grit, determination and enthusiasm by those of us that believe in Toku and what he is building. We will go to war not against utility tokens, but instead for Toku and the narrative enshrouding him. We all know it is only a matter of time before the first ever dog dev goes viral, and rest assured, a duplicate of efforts is being applied in numerous directions to ensure such as you read these very words. Treat this injustice as a friendly reminder that the fate of this token (as is the same with any token) balances upon many hands. Do not let fate slip through you fingers. Take action in unity.
