MVA ALERT: Units are operating at a two car MVA at Goose Lane and Anderson Road. Please use caution in the area.

Tonight is Halloween and there will be trick or treaters walking down town roads. Please use caution when driving around town night. There will also be a large presence of trick or treaters on Tolland Green. The carriage roads on Tolland Green are only open to local traffic.

MVA Alert: Units are currently operating on Shenipsit Lake Road near the Ellington town line for a car into a tree. Please avoid the area and seek an alternate route.

There are multiple tree and wires down across town: 15 Grant Hill Road (road closed) 263 Sugar Hill Road (road closed) 62 Cook Road (road passable) 29 Old Stafford Road (one lane open) Please use caution driving in these areas and seek alternate routes.

STORM UPDATE: There are numerous trees and wires down across town making driving difficult and hazardous. Please limit driving if possible as crews work to reopen the roads.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Weigold Road is currently closed near #58 due to a tree and wires down. Please use caution in the area.

MVA ALERT: Weigold Road is closed at 58 for power lines down. Eversouce is on scene and making repairs. Use Ghering Road Extension as detour if needed.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Grahaber Road is currently closed between Bonair Hill Road and the Ellington town line due to a downed tree. Please seek an alternate route.

MVA ALERT: Tolland Fire is responding to a MVA at the intersection of Route 74 and Old Cathole Road North. Route 74/Tolland Stage Road is down to one lane. Please use caution in the area.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Following tonight’s MVA, Merrow Road will be closed for an extended period of time between Walbridge Hill Road and Route 32. Please seek an alternate route.

MVA ALERT: Tolland Fire is on scene of an MVA in the 500 block of Merrow Road. Merrow Road is closed at this time.

MVA ALERT: Tolland Fire is on scene of a one car MVA in the 800 block of Tolland Stage Road. One lane is currently getting by.

UPDATE (11:20): Goose Lane has been reopened.

ROADS CLOSED: Goose Lane and Patricia Drive are currently closed. Access on Goose Lane only to Lemek Lane. Please seek an alternate route.

Weigold Road is currently closed from Gehring Road Ext to Summerwood Ridge due to a tree across the road with wires involved. Please seek an alternate route.

Tolland Fire is responding to a report of a fully involved tractor trailer fire on I84 West prior to the Mountain Spring overpass. Please use caution in the area.

MUTUAL AID BRUSH FIRE: Tank 140 is currently operating in Manchester at a brush fire on I-84 westbound by exit 63.
