We had a great evening last night at the @AHHuddersfield Made in Huddersfield showcase. We were delighted to be asked to select the winner of the Curator’s Choice prize from the BA Contemporary Art and Illustration course.

Currently browsing the Huddersfield Examiner from exactly 100 years ago. The front page is chock full of adverts, including one for Kahn's of 11 Northumberland Street, run by immigrant clothier Marks Kahn and his wife Celia, both born in Kaunas, Lithuania, in the 1870s.

@TolsonMuseum Is the "Tell us more" feature of KIA still is use? After a bit of digging, this is a photo of Malham Place Wesleyan Chapel, used as a place of worship from 1869 to 1914. It was then demolished and Malham Place Works (1918) built on the site. kirkleesimages.org.uk/frontend.php?k…
