At a time when Solana is fighting on many different battlefields, telling the users and founders of the past 6 years to go elsewhere is not a choice I'd make. It's still not consensus to bet on Solana. There's a lot of work that needs to be done for user trust, ecosystem growth, and application usage. Things are better than they were before, and have a lot of room to grow. That needs Champions and Missionaries who have ties into the ecosystem. Ignoring them is where it loses to other chains, in applications, users, and capital. Simply put - There's a lack of a "we".

Why does Solana want to be Hyperliquid so bad? Solana leads DEX spot volume. Leads on RWA and tokenization. Leads on meme culture and community. Has the most active retail ecosystem in crypto. Hyperliquid built an entire chain specifically for perps. we're not going to out-Hyperliquid Hyperliquid. the opportunity is everywhere else.

1. So do priority fees in theory. The fact this doesn’t pan out in practice explains why MCP is an extremely flawed idea. 2. Validators competing is the prerequisite for distributed network growth. Socialising profits ensures this won’t happen without out of band deals. See 1.

Comrades America is moving in the wrong direction. But blaming Trump is not enough. The real issue is the working and productive class, the factory workers and the capitalists who organize labor and production. They are creating too much wealth and supplying products to citizens. That's dangerous for our ruling oligarchy. We need to seize more of that surplus through taxes and regulation, expand the bureaucratic machine, and make sure both workers and capitalists stay under control. The 5 year plan is perfect. ☭

Because the attacker has a bigger budget to bribe stakes. cost to bribe the stake that is defecting ends up equal to what the attacker can extract with “bad mev”. That has to come out of somewhere, and it ends up as a cost to apps and users. So they will go somewhere where they don’t have to pay this cost.

Maybe this is a contrarian take but I find Solana's near term roadmap to be FAR more interesting and compelling than MCP. - 150-200ms slots brings solana to closer to parity with hyperliquid / DZ now above 50% adoption helps reduce global latency - 2-slot leaders span / 50ms ticks also brings solana closer to hyperliquid, but also effectively reduces censorship resistance in the case of a malicious leader (just looks more like a delay) On Terminal Wars 2.0 / Perp Dex Wars — I believe the winners will win because of 1) product selection, 2) market makers/ depth, 3) composability/capital efficiency as a function of cross-margining, and 4) leverage. Do those things right, and traders will move. We're in inning 2-3. No ones lunch is safe. Super-liquidity is a feature of crypto. x.com/bw_solana/stat…

The Senate Banking Committee released the latest draft of the CLARITY Act last night. The draft has significantly improved since January and reflects years of bipartisan negotiations. It’s time to get this passed. This bill safeguards consumers, includes important developer protections, and gives crypto entrepreneurs the regulatory clarity they need to build here in the U.S. We’re thankful for the hard work of the Senate Banking Committee and their staff. We urge Senators on both sides to move quickly to advance it out of Committee, to the Senate floor, and ultimately be signed into law by the President.
