I don’t know why F1 were so stubborn designing these regulations to obtain a silly speed profile where the top speed happens halfway down the straight.
The top speeds being reached are also largely unnecessary. F1 cars do not need to be going 340kph anywhere - it adds nothing to the sport.
Give them enough deployment to reach ~310kph and manage the power curve to:from that point.
Also, limit the number of times overtake mode is used during a race.
This combined with the lighter, more nimble cars and we have our sport back.
Minor tweaks, all we need 🤞

LMFAO NOT THE STATE SECRETS 😭 Lewis Hamilton: "I have been with Mercedes for a long time so I know how it works there. In qualifying they have another mode that they can go to, bit like party mode back in the day. Once they go to Q2 they switch that on. We don't have that."

While we respect and thank the club for reaching out and giving us the chance to meet in person, we feel the attitude conveyed by the club director was symptomatic of the hubris, arrogance and dismissiveness with which the current ownership has run the club since taking over. We were told: ➡️ There is no appetite to compete to sign players the other top clubs are signing ➡️ It will take at least a few more years to compete at the top, but they don’t know when exactly ➡️ Luis Enrique would not be the right fit for us as manager ➡️ There is no statistical relationship between managers and results ➡️ John Terry is not the right fit for the first team professionally ➡️ It is “f***ing obvious we are building one of the best teams in the world” We did not accept these points and were not impressed. Look at today's speed traces: throtthe goes above 100%, and the speed for all drivers gets locked until braking.
I hope this is a bug and not wanted, because this would be RIDICULOUS.
