F1 is in a weird place for me at the moment. I've given it 3 races to gather some thoughts and I've got really mixed feelings. I'm leaning towards these regulations being negative on a 60/40 split (I'm close to 50/50). 1️⃣🟢 The racing has improved. We're getting far more overtakes and that makes the races easier to watch. More overtakes is never a bad thing! 2️⃣🟡 However, I can't shake off the thought, the methods of those overtakes we see go against what F1 stands for. 3️⃣🟡 Also, Tyres mean very little in race strategies in 2026 which is a shame, as the Hybrid is the protagonist. If they had equal importance, F1 would be a strategic chess match! 4️⃣🔴 The biggest gripe for me is Qualifying. Regardless of the hybrid/combustion split, F1 cars should be able to go 'Flat Out' for at least 1 Hot Lap, and that isn't the case in 2026.

Damn.

This is getting serious. We learned from Covid that too soft measures too late were no good. It's time for a full lockdown. Also, null and void the football season. It's harsh on Arsenal, obviously, but sadly health and safety comes first.

I do wonder, if you go back to Checo’s comments regarding Red Bull’s upgrades… They bring a massive upgrade package to Miami and it begins… Isack Hadjar suddenly significantly slower than Max. Small sample size, but something to keep an eye on.

@mattamys Yes I never show real footage, matter of fact I’ve never used any real footage in any YouTube video of mine to steer clear of any issues. It’s purely gameplay, but the Content ID system is confusing it for the real thing.

@Tom97___ No sorry I mean are you only showing 100% gameplay you've recorded, or at any point are you showing real F1 footage or gameplay footage from an F1 broadcast?

Not sure if anyone can help, but ALL of my YouTube videos are getting Content ID'd and demonetized by 'Formula One Management'. Every claim is EXACTLY the same. In the videos, I leave in a 'Full Qualifying Lap' from an Onboard POV and because it's over 60 Seconds, they're all getting flagged, to the point where one of my Disputes has been REJECTED and I've had to Appeal which is Risky if it gets denied... I had this years ago until my channel got 'whitelisted'. It seems something has changed and now I'm back to square one and EVERYTHING is getting flagged. So if there's anyone in the loop with FOM, any contacts I can talk to I'd massively appreciate it.
