HTF fractal (ES Day chart): Sets up today's possibilities. - Yesterday we picked the outside lower edge & took out WEAK LONG STOPs. - Today we open at lower outside edge & have the possibility to Mean Revert back to 4415 MicrocompositeVPOC; or fall out to 4355 6/22VPOC & HVN.

12th May 2023, $ES_F We gapped up but weren´t able to hold the key 4150 area, we got initiative sellers and start shorting counter rotations and retail stops. Setups repeat themselves and they are profitable to say the least! #futurestrading #orderflow #Bookmap @bookmap_pro

I love this quote: "When 1 teaches, 2 learn" From training engineers to changing careers into equities then futures trading to backing traders and having to break down my processes & really learn what I was teaching. This is a great truth! Is this true for you? #Wisdom

An observation: The complexity with which #traders often approach the market is sometimes impressive. It really is simple;but not easy. IMO, any approach that doesn't appreciate the basic auction mechanism is likely to result in layer over layer of derivatives of price & volume.

@TradingComposur Assuming we have a vetted trading plan, we are accountable only to our trade plan and rules.

@FuturesTrader71 Great advice today on your traderbyte to those who have not really experienced these type of market events. Hopefully, they got the message. Thanks! As always.

@TradingComposur Agree. Markets are fractal. Time frames, should be adjusted based on the minimum range necessary to meet risk/reward parameters. If the market is choppy then one should get out of the noise and that would mean going up potentially to a higher time frame.

Markets are fractal, and trends occur on multiple timeframes. It's OK to lower your timeframe if the market is trendless on the higher ones. Nothing inherently changes, except the rapidity of market feedback. And so, if you go lower, make sure your mindset is well-calibrated.

@TomB_Trades That's what really sucks about starting in the hole like I did. It makes it hard to see it clearly and fluidly

@FuturesTrader71 I guess I didn't understand it. I thought there was a bit of humor in there.

Short notice but a friend of mine has two tickets for the Super Bowl in Inglewood, CA at SOFI stadium Sunday Feb 13. They are box seats that he spent $4,500 a piece for which includes a ride from the airport, open bar, and a pass to the winners locker room.

@rip_fader @FuturesTrader71 On point. As you have often said, "We are not special." We must do the work, find an edge(s) and execute our plan to reap that edge's distribution of positive expectancy. Rinse/Repeat.

A fundamental question that is overlooked as traders jump into indicators, tools, chart types, patterns, moon cycles or whatever: why should the market reward your trade? Why here? Why long or short? For what target and at what stop? Cont... #trading

@FuturesTrader71 @jaredtendler @AnthonyCrudele Traders should look hard at their P&l & see the consequences of responding to fear & emotional triggers. Nott taking trades, moving stops, bailing, etc. Quantifying the true cost will reveal that profitability is slipping through their fingers.

@FuturesTrader71 Most aspirering traders minimize the substantial impact fear & emotional triggers have on their potential survival of the learning curve. Newbies & Seasoned traders should take advantage of this excellent overview. Tx Morad, Anthony & Jared.

@FuturesTrader71 I remember listening to Ben. It was the most amazing narration I have ever heard. I felt that I was standing in the pit with him and was a chilling experience. Thanks for reminding us about that moment and those who weren't in the markets at time to get a real feel for it. Tx
