@FootballRamble With talk of teams being too worn out due to fixture congestion and the intensity of their play, is there a chance the FA Cup or League Cup could be done away with? Especially considering the teams who could win a cup, but choose to prioritise the league and field weakened sides.

NEW: A right wing Facebook group is being probed by West Mercia Police after it posted fake content that imitated a letter from Worcestershire County Council.
The fake letter tried to pretend the council would place British flags on roundabouts, at a cost of £70,000.

I was very sorry to hear of the death of Major Gordon Corrigan, MBE, yesterday.
His approach to Great War history in particular, and especially his book, ‘Mud, Blood & Poppycock’, did a great deal to give the wider public a more accurate and nuanced view of the conflict.
