What is going on…this umpire should be suspended! No way a game should end like this just because an umpire is holding a grudge!!

Another productive meeting today with the Colusa Board of Trustees. I have enjoyed working with them and the district staff. Best wishes to the Colusa community as promotions and graduation ceremonies are around the corner!

Playing catch with good friend Tim Wilson, high school and college baseball teammate on the beach at Santa Barbara. Fun to reminisce about the “Glory Days” as the song says!⚾️

It has been a very positive experience thus far working with the Fillmore Unified School District. They are proud of their beautiful traditions!

The hummingbirds were on a mission as the sun was setting last night at SCOE Board of Trustee Kim Rose’s home. This picture makes me think of the “beauty of the world we live in”. What makes you think of ‘beauty’ today?

Did two things to lift my spirits: 1. got a long overdue haircut and 2. wearing my Giants baseball shirt in the hopes there will be a season this year. What are you doing to put a smile on your face today?

It’s hard to imagine it’s been 10 Years since the Giants won their first of three world titles last decade. We miss sports, especially baseball right now. Hopefully the modified season will be put in place soon. Let’s go Giants, clap, clap. Clap, clap, clap!⚾️

I can’t help it - Baseball is baseball! Opening game in the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) season. No fans in the stands but at least they are playing. Hopefully, Major League Baseball will not be far behind!⚾️

Granddaughter Rory wondering if she will be able to invite friends to her 2nd birthday party in June. Let’s hope so! Stay safe friends!

The work continues, just not with the face to face meetings. Zoom has become our friend. Meeting today with members of the Burlingame Education Foundation. Very dynamic group!

Blue sky today and a dark blue lake Tahoe - beautiful! This is my version of social distancing!

Ran into this young man today who told me he graduated from the Stanislaus Military Academy. He thanked me for giving him the opportunity to get his life in order. He is a productive citizen and optimistic about his future. Stay the course!

ABBA Mania did not disappoint at the Gallo Center Saturday night. Plenty of energy with the performers and the audience!

Had the pleasure this evening of presenting to the Burlingame Board of Trustees. Leadership Associates is interested in assisting them as they move forward in their search for a new Superintendent.
