The cute Israeli barista from the Bibi café video going insanely viral is a little absurd, but there’s actually a lesson in it. The only way out of this for Israel and the Jews is through. The ADL playbook—whining, victimhood Olympics, begging progressive “allies” we’ve showered with money to defend us—is clearly not working. Better to lean into what actually makes Jews enviable and Israel valuable: success, competence, intelligence, strength—and yes, beauty. Stop pretending to be weak and powerless. We’re not. And that’s a good thing.

@MelissaLMRogers It seems like all my friends with exceptionally smart kids are seeing them leave to the U.S. Also, there is so many more start-ups and innovation coming out of Israel which is one-quarter our size. Canada seems to be stuck in a morass of mediocrity.

Let’s look at TECH Companies. If you run the TOP 22 United States based tech companies by valuation you will then reach the 1st Canadian Company Combine that with the fact Tech salaries are way higher in the USA, taxes are lower, it’s hard to attract top talent 👀

@GaryGol88424403 @Eve_Barlow Hollywood hid the decline for years by raising ticket sales to offset lower unit sales. That game is up. If you look at the stock charts of Paramount, Warner Brothers, Disney, and AMC, it become obvious film is a business in serious decline.

@AriGoldkind Less than half the number of people watch the Oscars than 1997, it's peak, despite a rise in population. It no longer cuts across cultural lines. Ticket sales are half what they were in 2002.

Not that this is a scientific example, but I don't know one single person who watched the Oscars. Not one. Nor have I even heard somebody say they have. Just some media outlets that report on the winners for movies that nobody saw or liked.

@MelissaLMRogers Just curious. Does that apply to current films? I watch almost no movies made in the last couples of decades but really enjoy many movies made before 1960 and a few produced just after.

I kicked Hollywood out of my life years ago. Why? Too many evil spirits & demons operate there. Sure, I can’t contribute to chats about movies and would have NO CLUE if a “celebrity” was sitting beside me, but I’m mentally healthier & not subjected to such evil messages ✌🏼
