Everyone loves the idea of a rebuild until it’s time to go through one then they all shit the bed.
It took some of the leagues most elite managers 5 years to cook up a project.
Yet at United it’s always the manager that’s the problem and never anything else around it

Obviously I understand the Amorim discourse. We're 17th. It's unacceptable.
But being 17th this season and 17th next season are two completely different things in my opinion.
INEOS appointed a 3 at the back manager mid-season to work with a squad built for 4 at the back with 1 wingback signing in January.
No pre-season. No summer signings. A squad that lacks physicality which is ironic as Amorim's whole system is built on physicality.
My point is judging him next season gives you an actual balanced viewpoint of where he's at. Yeah, if we're just as bad in the league then he will have to go.
But aren't some people blind numbingly bored of this cycle that we've found ourselves in? Sacking/demanding for a new manager every season or two.
The manager has unfortunately become an easy leading target for most United fans on social media these past few seasons to mask the actual ownership issues.

What a disgrace @ManUtd
Stewards on Sunday assaulting a United fan who was peacefully protesting.
Watch until the end.
