I don't have OCD but it's still irritated me for years seeing people cry about "my OCD!!" just because something's not tidy or lined up properly, because I know what the disorder actually is, and how much all those types of comments have contributed to this harmful misconception.

One frustrating thing that I still see about OCD is how it is still so misunderstood. It is not just being particular about things. It is not just liking things done a certain way. It is not just wanting things to be tidy and organised 🧵
