@TVietor08 Academic librarian here. I'd withhold judgement, removing unused books is a standard part of library practice, we call it "weeding". Sometimes libraries can be a bit reluctant to publicise the process as it can provoke a backlash.

You don't have to be liberal or ever want to read these books to know how stupid this is

@PrecipiceNewton I saw it on the big screen last year. I love it but Al Pacino's performance gets a LOT of unintentional laughs.

Rewatched Heat for the first time since the old Empire Forum days. It offers a touch more than I remember but I still don’t get the adoration of it. It’s a stylish but flabby thriller that I maintain gets undue credit from film bros for simply putting De Niro and Pacino together.
