22yrs of Title-less pain, 6yrs of Arteta’s project.. in terms of its importance to the Club, this is Arsenal’s biggest game of the Millennium, and possibly in our whole history. I believe in this manager, and this squad. We’re going to win. COYG. 👊

It is sad what happened to Edwin. A lot of drivers face these challenges out here. I always advise a driver to check on his safety first. In this case Edwin should have just left with the army after the first attempted attack. His life was more important than the cargo and the truck.

Yesterday, I told you I would share more details about Edwin Njuguna Ngugi, the Kenyan driver who was killed and left to rot in Congo. Let me break it down for you. Edwin is from Teso Amagoro, and on the left is a copy of his ID. His truck broke down in Bunia. So he did what any driver would do, he called his boss in Kenya and the receiver in Congo. The receiver told him, “Don’t worry, we’ll send another truck to pick up the cargo and deal with the broken one.” They even organized for army protection, which did arrive. At some point, ADF and M23 elements tried to attack, but the army managed to hold them off. For a moment, it looked like things were under control. Then, after a few calls, the army just left. And that’s when everything went wrong. ADF rebels came back. They attacked Edwin, stabbed him, shot him, and dumped his body in the bushes. Now listen to this part carefully, because this is where it gets really disturbing. The cargo? Part of it was stolen, but it was still collected. The receiver reportedly sent another truck. The goods were transferred. But Edwin’s body? They left it there. Just like that. Some locals say the body wasn’t even taken to the morgue to avoid financial responsibility. And when the Kenyan company was informed, some officials reportedly denied even knowing him, and so the body stayed there rotting coz no one could claim him. They disowned him. Imagine that. A Kenyan driver, working for you, dies, and you pretend you don’t know him? Edwin was left there, in the bush, for days, rotting. It’s only after we raised this issue here that action was finally taken and his remains were moved to Bunia morgue. But by then, The condition of the body was very bad. I’ve seen the video at Bunia morgue, and I’m telling you, it’s painful. Now, even transporting his remains to Kenya is becoming a challenge that the Congolese have requested the family to allow they just bury him in Congo. This is what happened. A man was left in a dangerous place, killed, then abandoned as if he didn’t matter. This is not normal. This is not okay. Kenyan drivers are out there risking everything, and this is how they are treated? I really hope justice is served for Edwin. Rest In Peace, Edwin

Na hiyo Masomo yako Yote unaita mtu his holiness. Wewe tafuta kazi ya priest.
Kalonzo Musyoka@skmusyoka

MESSAGE TO HIS HOLINESS POPE LEO XIV ON HIS APOSTOLIC VISIT TO AFRICA Your Holiness, On behalf of the Wiper Patriotic Front, and on my own behalf, I extend to you a most cordial and reverent welcome to the African continent on your maiden apostolic journey as the 267th Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church. Africa, a continent of ancient faith, extraordinary resilience, and boundless hope, receives you with profound joy and deep spiritual solidarity. In the great tradition of the Church, we are reminded that "Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est" Where charity and love are found, there is God. Your presence among us, Holy Father, is a living testament to that sacred truth. Though your present pastoral itinerary does not bring you to Kenyan soil, we acknowledge that Kenya holds a place of enduring warmth for the Holy See, and we trust in the providence of God that the day shall come when we are once again privileged to receive you as our most honoured guest. We draw deep inspiration from Your Holiness's steadfast championship of peace, the transcendent dignity of every human person, and the family as the first and most vital school of virtue and civic life. I humbly beseech Your Holiness to intercede in prayer on our behalf, that Kenya may be blessed with lasting peace, social harmony, and leaders who govern not for themselves, but for the common good of all our people. We walk with you in prayer and in solidarity. @Pontifex

🚨🚨💣 | Didier Drogba BLAST Arsenal Media critics:🗣️ 🎙️“Let me tell you, I spent years fighting guys on the pitch, so I know what Arsenal looks like when they are soft. This team? This team is not soft. The media, they sit in their studios and talk about 'failure' every time there’s a draw, but they never talk about the treatment room. You cannot take the spine out of a team the center-backs, the captain, the goalscorers and expect them to just sail through. Any other club in Europe would fall to mid-table with the injuries Mikel has dealt with this season. But instead, they are still there, right at the top, looking everyone in the eye. He is building something sustainable with a squad that has been broken by injuries this season, yet they still find a way to lead. People forget that football is about resilience as much as it is about tactics. People need to show some respect to Arteta. This is his first job. His first ever experience as the man in charge, and he is going toe-to-toe with the best in the world Pep guardiola every single year. That’s not luck; that’s elite management. They want to focus on the noise, but I’m focusing on the truth. When you suffer this much and you still refuse to drop from first place, that is the mark of a champion. Write it down: despite the injuries, despite the critics, Arsenal will lift the trophy this year, and then the media will have to find a new story to tell”

🚨Dennis Bergkamp on hatred towards Arsenal: Even to this day, I still don’t understand why people hate Arsenal so much. Arsenal are not the only team in history to finish second in the league for three consecutive seasons. What surprises me even more is seeing Manchester United fans supporting their biggest rivals, Manchester City, to win the league four times in five years—I honestly wasn’t expecting that. Football is about rivalry, but sometimes it feels like an obsession with Arsenal. Every mistake is magnified, while others don’t get the same criticism. Since we achieved the Invincibles—something none of them have been able to do—they don’t enjoy seeing us win trophies anymore.”

Oil marketers trying to play games with Kenyans by hoarding fuel-consider this your warning. Don’t say you weren’t told. The Ministry of Energy under CS Opiyo Wandayi is not joking-anyone caught hoarding will have their licenses revoked. Firm action will be taken against those trying to manipulate supply ahead of price changes. That kind of mchezo you’re seeing in other places won’t fly in Kenya.

Arsenal fans, Lower your expectations. We had a difficult midweek tie against determined Sporting CP. We will not risk an aggressive attack tomorrow against a fresh Bournemouth. As expected they will try to run rings around the exhausted and cautious Arsenal side, taking advantage of that Ben White problem at the back. #ARSBOU

@C_NyaKundiH Teachers want to justify remedial amounts given to them. Syllabus is taught even on weekends these days and CS Ogamba is just sitting in the office quietly.

Ban weekday homework. Kids wake up at 5am, spend the whole day in school, get home at 5pm, then are loaded with more assignments. That is not education but burnout. Let homework be for weekends only, or parents want schools to justify school fees?

There was once a man called Nabal. His name they say means a fool. Someone should whisper this to Senator Methu. He quotes the bible but has not read that part. We hope there is Abigail in his house to plead for him when that time to reckon comes.

You guys must be honest to yourselves. You want President Ruto to fast track development in this country but you want to stand on his way. Respected minds like Pauline Njoroge who have traversed the globe and have been to magnificent cities in the world, criticize President Ruto for doing everything possible to elevate Nairobi to those standards. Everything good is worth the sacrifice. For a baby to be born, nature has it that the mother must endure excruciating pain to bring it forth. When President Pombe Magufuli moved his capital from Dar to Dodoma, many lamented but Magufuli stood firm and said "When you pop a boil, you will feel pain and blood will flow but in the end, you will feel relieved" Kenyans must be able to pay the sacrifice for the development they want. Someone has to make the difficult decisions. Someone has to shove down our throats the difficult pill. That man is President Ruto. He is not making popular decisions, NO. He is making necessary decisions like Gikomba at the expense of his re election. And that to me is the hallmark of Leadership.
