Week 1 we lose by 2 scores. My coach decides it’s a good idea to hold a full padded practice on Sunday (Day after game mind you) and someone gets thrown into my leg. High ankle sprain, out 4 weeks and lose my job. Not as severe, but still stupid nonetheless!

In 1993 Clovis West achieved a 14-0 record running the Delaware Wing-T to utter perfection. Their starting left halfback # 22 McKay Christensen locked in 44 TDs for the year, often running buck sweep. Notice the fakes, the mesh, the 90 degree cut, and the down block angles. 🔥🏈

The real secret to what Belichick and Saban were able to do for years: they “hacked” the game appropriately, but were also the first to figure out how to stop what they were doing. You want to ignore linebackers? Cool, we’re loading up on TEs. Now you’ve adapted a few years later and got LBs, but they’re too slow to keep up with twitchy slot WRs.

#Patriots QB Drake Maye did not practice today due to illness/shoulder, per HC Mike Vrabel. Vrabel added that Maye is “fine” and that there is no extra concern — New England has been dealing with illnesses all season and they did not want to spread anything.

Maybe it’s just me, but I automatically think people have a strong misconception about the levels of college football when they refer JUCO as a lower level than D3. JUCO is its own monster and the whole nonchalant “I’ll just go JUCO” thought process is a quick way to for some to have a rude awakening. There’s legitimate NFL talent on some of those rosters. JUCO isn’t a joke. If you’re going to go, you better be about that life.
