@Brumairian Maybe it would help if you print them out and frame them and decorate the walls of your home

@universal_bagel Really makes you think... what were they typing into those terminals
English

@EarthBrah Suddenly the anthropic thing makes a lot more sense
English

@EarthBrah Where's claude with "hard truth" 3rd paragraph when we need it
English

Yeah. Also different people in leadership probably have varied objectives they're using this to accomplish them somehow.
Had a IRL friend suggest this is about burning through weapons stockpiles to make it profitable for manufacturers to spin up new production lines.
All Of The Above could be a good answer here

I'd like for you to read this short poem by TS Eliot, To the Indians Who Died in Africa, written to memorialize the sacrifice of Subcontinental soldiers fighting for the British Empire in WWII. It is (particularly its final stanza) the best explanation of American casualties in the Iran War. Sent to die in strange lands on behalf of a nation other than their own, they do not fully understand what their deaths accomplish, yet we honor their willingness to go and to go even to death. Let us pray that the "fruit of action" is reclamation of American sovereignty, that their sacrifices will free us from this terrible habit.
---------
A man’s destination is his own village,
His own fire, and his wife’s cooking;
To sit in front of his own door at sunset
And see his grandson, and his neighbour’s grandson
Playing in the dust together.
Scarred but secure, he has many memories
Which return at the hour of conversation,
(The warm or the cool hour, according to the climate)
Of foreign men, who fought in foreign places,
Foreign to each other.
A man’s destination is not his destiny,
Every country is home to one man
And exile to another. Where a man dies bravely
At one with his destiny, that soil is his.
Let his village remember.
This was not your land, or ours: but a village in the Midlands,
And one in the Five Rivers, may have the same graveyard.
Let those who go home tell the same story of you:
Of action with a common purpose, action
None the less fruitful if neither you nor we
Know, until the judgement after death,
What is the fruit of action.

@universal_bagel Hm. It's probably overly simplistic to boil it down to one thing, good chess moves will accomplish multiple things at once. But for sure the surface level messaging has felt... evasive? Off-center
English

@EarthBrah lots of little things like what targets we hit with what weapons, that we seemed to focus heavily on ships despite maybe not needing to. that sort of thing.
Though my sources are just what i see on Twitter and I'm assuming 80% of that is false or manipulated so idk
English

@TheRedRanga Should I not have told my leech guy "give me The Washington, fam"?
English

@EarthBrah My gut feeling is it's about demonstrating US combat capability against systems known to China, calling their bluff that they're technically equal.
I'm 85% sure Iran is about Taiwan
English

@DrHassdenteufel Yeah, this is not based on any estimation of them at all. Just vibes based on what is unfolding and what's being said and not said
English

@EarthBrah You strongly overestimate drunk pieces of shit like Hegseth and whiney little power grasping cocksuckers like Kushner.
English

@EarthBrah I looked into Qatar and also discovered Russian oil was being sold in USDC.
English

@EarthBrah I agree. I think it is simply a way to ensure that the petro dollar is and remains US currency.
English

@Mkknjg11 Just a gut feeling though. Could be the milkshake I just drank.
English

@DefiantLs Insane raucous cackling punctuated with despairing roars. This is like a sick clown convention nightmare
English

@crimsoncrown33 If any birds want to join in they're welcome. Not the planes
English

@EarthBrah I can imagine! I bet the excavator helped block some of the the heavy winds, but you never know about folks and critters out and about...maybe they might join in tho
