@MaineLogic She won’t be governor, but unfortunately, we’re still gonna be stuck with her Secretary of State. Some drastic changes would have to happen in the legislature to get rid of her. ☹️
English

@KatieGoodw62048 @grahamformaine That’s brilliant… I’m saving this one for future use. Lol.
English

@LauraYo14095324 @MaineLogic He was picked by the same political machinery that elevated Mandani in NYC. They’re writing his speeches, and creating his ads. The same crew.
English

@TomNicholas529 @MaineLogic He is running for FEDERAL office. I don't think he was chosen by Mainers; rather, selected by political strategists as a persona they believe they can sell to Mainers in order for them to control federal power
... and they may be correct, as lots of Mainers are buying it.
English

@rnadeau12 Now that I think about it, that’s probably pretty insulting to those poor aliens on Neptune. 🤣
English

@MaineGirl1717 @RoKhanna @grahamformaine @TroyJackson207 @dunlap4congress To be fair, he didn’t say exactly what emotions Platner was inspiring. He’s definitely inspiring horror & disgust among many people in Maine.
English

@RoKhanna @grahamformaine @TroyJackson207 @dunlap4congress As a generational Mainer let me be perfectly clear, we don’t get “inspired” by Platner. In fact we’re horrified that so many Mainers support him.
English

Graham Platner’s campaign has inspired working families in Maine and across the country.
I am thrilled to be joining @grahamformaine , @TroyJackson207, and @dunlap4congress to keep up the fight.

@rnadeau12 If they mean a gift from aliens from Neptune, then maybe they’re right 🤣
English

@rnadeau12 I’d like to think that if the people who picked him did their homework, they probably wouldn’t have picked him. You win elections by fielding electable candidates. Platner, in the eyes of many, is unfit to serve in any political office. If this is a test, they picked a doozy.
English

@TomNicholas529 That’s right hahaha. Now I wonder if he wasn’t picked because he had all this baggage. Like he’s a test case for electing Communists
English

@mainegop And she’s gonna get away with it too. She could blow up a school bus full of preschoolers, and the ME Democrats would applaud her for it. Meanwhile, the ME GOP will issue some strongly worded social media posts, and that will be the end of it. 🙄
English

@ScottPresler @carisacai They did a bang up job on her, didn’t they?
She obviously doesn’t have to worry about the SAVE America Act passing. The Senate has effectively killed it. Everyone knows it, we might as well admit it.
English

@C_3C_3 @MaineGirl1717 I never thought I’d see the day where a Jewish guy would be campaigning and supportive a Nazi. Smh.
English

@EarthFirstVoter @mainegop The mental gymnastics his followers have to engage in to justify their support has been nothing short of astonishing. If it wasn’t a Nazi tattoo, why did he scramble to get it covered up? Spoiler alert: because it was a Nazi tattoo. #Busted.
English

@mainegop You’re pathetic. You perpetuate the lie that he had a Nazi tattoo when evidence and testimony shows otherwise. Like many marines, he got a skull tattoo while overseas. The fact he didn’t know it resembled a Nazi symbol is a GOOD thing. Normal people don’t know that shit.

@OneBadDude_ @SGTValadez Not necessarily… Democrats seem very united in their opposition to anything Trump. The entire party’s infected with TDS. If he cured cancer tomorrow, the Dems would complain that he put some doctors out of work. It would be nice if the GOP were so unified. Thune doesn’t help.
English

@julie_kelly2 @carisacai Never have I seen a party in power do so little with that power. The GOP acts like it’s not interested in being majority, it keeps shooting itself in the foot. Every chance it gets. 🙄
English

I just listened to this...here are some highlights.
What Cruz generally describes is what I posted as soon as Thune sent everyone home on Thursday--a temper tantrum led by Sens. Cassidy, Tillis, and Paul (over Massie loss) with acting AG Blanche taking the brunt over the anti weaponization fund. (Cornyn was not there.)
Cruz discloses that senators were "screaming" at Blanche over the fund. "It was not calm, there were yelling."
However, Cruz also describes the meltdown as an expression of "cathartic anger" over Trump's success in ridding the Senate of three incumbents. (Actually four including McConnell, unclear if he was in attendance.) Cruz admits there are "consequences" for the president's endorsements of opponents of sitting GOP senators.
In what is truly astonishing given the appalling legislative record of the US Senate--which has helped send hundreds of billions to Ukraine over the past few years without hesitation or oversight and voted to INCREASE the budget of the Biden DOJ/FBI/DHS as they hunted down Trump supporters--is that 20 GOP senators were prepared to side with Democrat-sponsored amendments attached to the ICE/CBP reconciliation measure to either limit or block the anti weaponization fund.
20 GOP SENATORS PLANNED TO SIDE WITH DEMOCRATS TO BLOCK RELIEF TO THEIR OWN CONSTITUENTS WHO WERE SUBJECTS OF UNPRECEDENTED GOVERNMENT ABUSES.
Cruz also said senators were angry at Blanche for giving legal answers about the nature of the fund (how dare he) and not political answers. "Their anger was not legal it was political," Cruz said of his childish colleagues.
It now appears that Thune will not bring the ICE/CBP funding bill to the floor until the anti weaponization fund is drastically limited--including no relief to J6ers accused of assaulting police.
Cruz calls it a "full on revolt in the Senate without modifications to the fund."
Aren't you so glad this is what gets our Senate majority so worked up? What a joke.

Businesses of Maine who support @grahamformaine.
We are keeping track and will avoid you like the plague. We don’t want you or your deviant communist fetish in our communities.
English

@RepLuna @realannapaulina @POTUS Do your GOP colleagues in the Senate realize what a massive disappointment they are to the American people right now? Do they also realize that every single one of them runs the risk of getting primaried? Ask Thomas Massie how that went.
English

The Same Senators not passing the Save America Act are now sideline quarterbacking a peace deal they are NOT negotiating and providing commentary with little insight into the actual conversations taking place. I’ll take @POTUS peace negotiations over the peanut gallery commentary from the Senate any day of the week. Let him cook.
English

@lady_valor_07 I’m sure there are a few folks that are. As for me….Not quite. About to turn 57. Lol.
English

@EricLDaugh @barry100CA Thune better pay attention. Scott has a pretty good track record with this stuff, & Thune’s popularity in his home state is taking a nose dive.
