@AFLcomau Agreed, @Jake_Kola’s goal was elite, but he’s understandably rested this week due to the resulting impact on his body from said kick.

@1116sen @SENSportsday How @JedBews24 hasn’t been picked up by someone is beyond me. Can’t buy a game at the cats, yet each time he plays is incredibly solid.

@thedeesfan The market wants analysis like @onepercentas each week tbh, not this pseudo-news

Sorry I’m not having any of the Wirtz hate.
The guy is a fucking baller, in the right system, if utilised correctly can be one of the best players in the world.
If you understand football, you understand the ability this kid has and the potential he has.
Just needs a manager to use him correctly👍
Look what happens when he plays for Germany🤷🏻♂️

@Pivotonian1838 He rolls forward when he can’t get a touch to get himself into the game. He’s the type of player where, if given the choice, it’s better to have it in his hands anywhere on the ground.

What a game. For Geelong’s usuals to be quiet like Cameron and no Danger, then out of form players like O Henry, Neale to do better and overall stay within a point is a great sign for a team eternally in a “transition” period personnel-wise. Some nice quality from Bowes and Lawson. Newcombe, what a gun.

OMG!! What a game!! Incredible!! That is as good as footy gets. Congrats Hawks, probably deserved it on balance of play, but Cats made the most of every opportunity. What a rivalry, best of the 21st century by a mile, thank you both @HawthornFC and @GeelongCats! #aflhawkscats

@itsedsilha @GamewithDave Descent. Let’s go. Lunchtimes were never the same.

Descent II, and honestly nothing else even comes close.
Most games back then still kept you on a flat plane. This thing threw you into full six degrees of freedom, flying through tight tunnels where enemies could come from literally any direction. It was disorienting at first, then it clicked and suddenly every other shooter felt limited.
The objective was simple, get in, blow the reactor, get out before it all collapses, but the way it played felt chaotic in the best way. Homing missiles, upgraded lasers, proximity bombs, all while trying to keep track of which way was even up.
It was one of those games that didn’t just entertain you, it rewired how you thought about movement in games. Even now, most shooters still don’t dare go that far.
