Yeah. For all the Nets fans thinking the Nets have to find their Jalen Brunson — undervalued guy who elevates into a bonafide star in a new role — Austin Reaves has as good of a chance as anyone to do that.
Like Brunson, he was Luka Doncic’s #2. Reaves’ offensive production is actually significantly better than Brunson’s in Dallas.
Brunson came to the Knicks at 26 years old and signed for about 22% of the 2022-2023 cap (4-$110M overall).
Reaves is entering his age 28 season and 22% of next year’s cap would be $36M, 4-$160M seems like a target number for Reaves next deal.

Max Strus would be a very good fit in Brooklyn.
1-$16M — pick up an asset to absorb him and he’s a player who could help without long-term commitment.
Great shooter, good competitor, defensively versatile.
