Why am I ditching this account? Fair warning: This long post is all about me. So if you're not interested just keep scrolling 😅 --- I've been running 2 accounts for 5 months. It's been more effort than it's worth & posting on 2 accounts has been a real grind. For the last 5 weeks I've had a VA running my niche page. He's done a really good job but by the time I've paid him the account is barely making any money. So what's the point in even doing it? It still takes up some of my headspace & I need to overview it still. So not completely hands off. (If anyone wants a VA feel free to reach out for his contact details) --- So the decision has been made to ditch 1 account & fully focus on the other. I'm getting rid of this account for a few reasons: 1. It's infested by bots! Because I've spoke about B1tcoin a lot, every other comment gets instantly spammed. I'm blocking 30-40 bots daily, which is mind numbing & ruins my user experience. 2. The other account has over 100k followers. Seems like a shame to let that account die, as it has so much more potential reach. 3. I want to change direction slightly. There are thousands of personal finance accounts out there who are just as knowledgeable as me. I want to talk more about Ad revenue, X monetization & be a bit less serious. I'll post a few memes & talk more about current events. The clean slate of a different account is appealing for that. --- However, I've grown attached to the Tom Talks Money 'brand'. So I'll be rebranding over there & hopefully lots of you will come over with me. You can follow me @Tom_Talks_Money I'll still engage as normal with those of you who I've become friends with. So I'm not disappearing. Just need a fresh start! --- I know it's a risk: - Lot's of you either won't see this or won't want to come over to the new account. - So I'll lose engagement, momentum & some followers. But at this point that doesn't bother me too much. I have a young growing family so my time is quite valuable. I need to prioritize them. So my activity on X either needs to be more fun. Or make more money. Both of which can be achieved more easily on the big account. --- Sorry for the long, self-indulgent post. But I wanted you guys to be aware of why I'm switching! I'll rebrand this account so as to avoid confusion. I may still keep it as a backup. Or I may let some smaller accounts use it as promo space if anyone wants to write content & give themselves a tag. If you want to do that (for no charge) just send me a DM. Peace ✌️

@jackiekenoyer It’s a really rough balance right! On one hand you want to work, be busy & earn money to give them a good life. But on the other hand you want to spend as much time as you can with them! Certainly a balance I’m still trying to find. Followed you over there 🤝

@TomTalksMoney_ Thanks for your honesty! Being a husband and a dad of little(s) is so.hard. Finding the time to be present, work, and stay sane is difficult. Focusing on what matters and letting go of the rest is a difficult skill these days, but so worth it. I’ll follow you over there!
