My friends & neighbors think that I’m a professional poker player. My poker industry friends & colleagues think that I’m a recreational poker player. My family thinks that I’m a businessman who likes to play poker. Me? I think I’m just having a major mid-life identity crisis!

Today at @PokerGOTour they are allowing live straddles for the first time I've ever heard of. I've always thought it was silly to not allow them as they are allowed in cash games and I really don't see much harm. It's a very little thing but another way PGT listens to players and makes changes accordingly. Do you think this is a good idea and should be allowed in tournaments everywhere?

I'm excited to announce that I've accepted a position with the @WSOP as their U.S. WSOP Circuit Manager. I'm proud that they've shown a clear commitment to investing in growing the game and improving the player experience at all levels, including the Circuit. Along with the talented team in place, I'll be involved in all things related to the tour: Scheduling, structures, new locations, player experience, and more. An important aspect for me is being a voice and an ear for the players. I'll continue to play on the tour regularly, bring my vlog to venues across the country, and embrace players and operators reaching out to me for anything. I'm thrilled they brought in @jeffplatt as well, and look forward to growing the game alongside him and the rest of the WSOP team. My new life will be heavily focused on the Circuit. That has a nice RING to it. 🔥

Today is my first day as an employee @WSOP. I strongly believe in the vision for poker's biggest and best series in the world, and I greatly look forward to helping to build the brand. It's been the honor of my career to be a part of the broadcast for the Main Event, the greatest poker tournament in the world. And I'm thrilled to expand the partnership with the WSOP in an expanded role, as both a host and a producer. I can't wait for you all to see the team's vision for the 2026 World Series of Poker come to life. Player engagement is a really important facet of this deal, to both me and the WSOP. I feel like, as a player myself (not a very good one), I can help to strengthen the bridge that connects the WSOP and its community. I don't promise to accommodate every single request. Stupidity just runs rampant in the real world. Go to open my storage unit (Storage One blue diamond & buffalo🖕🏽) today & there's a foreign lock on it. Manager: That's not our lock. Me: I didn't put it there!! Her: Idk what you want from me. Me: Check the cameras to see who tampered with my unit? Her: There are no cameras. You'll have to hire our affiliated locksmith to cut the lock. Me: You understand that anyone with a gate code can now walk in here and rob any unit they want bc you have zero security. Her: And how would they do that? Me: 🤬🤦‍♂️‼️

Interestingly enough, regulated online poker companies don't operate with agents much like unregulated online sites do, and most if not all of them allocate a large portion of their marketing budgets directly back into player incentives. I can definitely see how that isn't clear though across the board. Appreciate your response and perspective.
