I have watched Star Trek since the '60's, New Trek for the most part has not been good.
Starfleet Academy, first couple episodes were ok, the 3rd episode had me ready to quit the series. Episode 4 was excellent, I really liked it, it could have been an episode of TNG, great story

Credit where it’s due “Vox in Excelo” was a beautifully written and directed episode of #StarfleetAcademy Klingon stories are still captivating in 2026. They were always my favourite! I’ve been very critical of newer Trek, but Starfleet Academy has really surprised me. It’s brought back “fun” into Trek. I think that’s what we’ve missed for so long in TV series. Not only Trek. Glad to see it making a comeback. Sure it’s got its faults, I’m not a huge fan of the ships, some moments feel cheesy. But god. Star Trek always has been. Thank You for FINALLY getting Klingons right again 😂 and THE SHIPS LOOK GOOD! “Make Pylons and Nacelles attached again” lol. But in all seriousness…. I’m really pleased with the character development in this show and this episode. I hope they get a chance to do more of this kindve episode. Bravo @StarTrek @StarTrekOnPPlus you’ve converted this cynic of new Trek into a fan because of this episode. #StarfleetAcademy #StarTrek

With the hiring of Todd Monken, it tells me a lot. There’s someone with power in the Cleveland Browns organization who believes their franchise QB is already in the building. It suggests that Kevin Stefanski’s firing may have been solely due to his mishandling of Shedeur Sanders. They hired Monken because of his extensive experience coaching strong offenses and his ability to develop a QB. Haters won’t like it or think he deserves it, but the Browns are getting ready to build around #12.
