It's still unclear what they're actually towing so that is why I haven't included it as part of my daily Middle East update. The most likely is the "MO" F-15E Strike Eagles. It was rumoured they would fly solo via Aviano to Lakenheath, but these tankers are orbiting around Souda Bay/Chania. BLUE 72 received an ACARS message informing it that Cell 2 had cancelled due to weather at Moron Air Base in Spain, and then a second message to determine if Souda Bay is a suitable alternative. Therefore, it doesn't look like the "MO" F-15E's will be heading any further today, and not via Lakenheath. ACARS via @thebaldgeek @MATA_osint
