@Rainmaker1973 Kind of funny that “table made from rare XYZ wood crafted by artisan ABC” is less interesting today than “table for $26,000”. They’ve reduced all the craft to just a price tag.

Economics of software - a.k.a. why vibe coding means much more spam.
1. software scales easily (easier than physical goods)
2. but all that supply is looking for where it can be sold
3. hence all the marketing & sales
4. hence your inbox and timeline is full of spam
And with vibe coding it's much worse

OpenAI just raised $110B. How much money is that? Here’s a thread that will help you put that number into perspective.
1. With that money you could single-handedly do ALL US preseed and seed rounds for 4 years - you’d have 10-20% of every VC backed US tech startup over 4 years.

We have raised a $110 billion round of funding from Amazon, NVIDIA, and SoftBank. We are grateful for the support from our partners, and have a lot of work to do to bring you the tools you deserve.
