Money that belongs to the Swedish people and should be used to bring down Swedish electricity prices. Sweden’s Minister for Energy, Business and Industry and Deputy Prime Minister, Ebba Busch, saw straight through it — and has now slammed the brakes on the massive power cable to Denmark with immediate effect. No cable. No more one-sided “cooperation.” Not until Brussels backs down. The message from Busch is crystal: Sweden will no longer be Europe’s ATM for failed energy policies. Strong leadership. Full force. Well done, Madam Deputy Prime Minister — stand your ground!

Äntligen händer det: En svensk politiker som faktiskt slåss för folket istället för att bara niga i Bryssel 🇸🇪 Det är inte ofta vi ser det, men Ebba Busch sätter nu ner foten mot EU:s orimliga krav. Bryssel vill roffa åt sig 25% av våra flaskhalsintäkter för att bygga nät i andra länder. Det är VÅRA pengar som ska sänka VÅRA priser. Ebba Busch såg igenom bluffen och pausar nu jättekabeln till Danmark direkt. Ingen kabel, inget mer dumsnällt samarbete förrän Bryssel backar. Väntar nu bara på att någon "expert" ska förklara hur det är en vinstaffär att ge bort pengar till folk som hatar oss. Är det inte befriande med en minister som prioriterar svenska hem framför att vara ”duktigast i klassen” nere i EU? Eller har vi blivit så vana vid dumsnällheten att vi tror att det är fel att sätta Sverige först? Vad säger ni?

EU ska inte få ta svenskarnas elpengar. Bryssel lyssnar just nu inte på oss. Därför pausar vi planeringen för nya kablar för elexport. Vi har fått gehör för viktig svensk kritik i förhandlingarna. Samtidigt kvarstår delar som riskerar att begränsa Sveriges möjligheter att stärka vår konkurrenskraft och försörjningstrygghet. Regeringen pausar nu Konti-Skan Connect till Danmark tills vidare, samtidigt som vi stärker Sveriges elsystem med mer planerbar kraft och ny kärnkraft. Ett starkt Sverige är ett starkt Europa. ————————————————- The EU should not be allowed to take the Swedish electricity revenues. Right now, Brussels is not listening to Sweden. That is why we are pausing the planning of new electricity export cables. We have secured important changes in the negotiations, but parts of the proposal still risk limiting Sweden’s ability to strengthen our competitiveness and security of supply. The Swedish government is therefore pausing Konti-Skan Connect to Denmark for the time being, while continuing to strengthen Sweden’s energy system with more dispatchable power and new nuclear energy. A strong Sweden makes for a strong Europe.
