@HMRCcustomers so what the security checks that they do? I’m really getting annoyed with just how much little information I’m receiving

@HMRCcustomers I’ve not been asked anything else, My expect a reply by started on 25th June then it went to 31 august then 4th September now it’s 18th September Surely I should be receiving letters or something telling me what’s going on but instead I have to phone you up to be told to wait

@HMRCcustomers my tax return was meant to be paid today but when I phoned them Friday they said they are running more security checks, and now may have to wait untill November, They issued my payment on the 18th last month I just want to know what security checks take 4 months

@HMRCcustomers I phoned up Friday just gone for my tax repayment and they did over the phone they said I should receive it within 5 days but I’m still waiting

@HMRCcustomers 12th may was when I sent in my self assessment then I phoned them up Friday last week asking what is going on, the lady processed my payment over the phone and said it should be in my bank within 5 days it’s now been 6

@HMRCcustomers I’ve waited since 12th may for this and they have processed it but I’m still waiting it’s getting silly now

@HMRCcustomers I don’t mind the waiting but I’m more annoyed that I’m not getting told anything it’s always as soon as we can

@Tombarber89 OK, they'd have given you a timescale if they had one, it just depends on which team has the repayment, I can't give anymore information here. We will release as soon as we can. Steve

@HMRCcustomers No they just said it’s in specialists hands and that I’ll receive a message on the app when it’s processed I’m being messed about obviously but I can’t get clear answers I was meant to have a reply by 19th July now it says 23 august it’s a joke

@HMRCcustomers I’ve been trying that all morning 😂 it keeps saying no one is available last time I spoke to them they said it went to a specialist and that was a month ago

@HMRCcustomers What about tax returns from self assessment I sent mine off 1st week of may I’ve had mates who sent there’s last month and received there’s within 2 weeks

@Tombarber89 Hi Tom, Refunds from the 24 25 year from PAYE are being worked now, this usually runs from June to October. Steve
