WRU announce that Wales will stay with four pro teams until 2028. Then cut to three. Proposed teams would be one West, one Central, one East. Those new teams may be newly labeled/ branded.

@phildaviesrugby @WorldRugby To be fair I think world rugby is one of the leaders in research on these issues and has great initiatives in place. It would be interesting to know if MND disproportionately affects those who has played contact sports.

@phildaviesrugby What more can rugby do to make it as safe as is reasonably practicable without changing its laws disproportionately. Could annual screening of all professional players be an option if not already happening, it won't prevent these terrible diagnoses but may pick up early symptoms?

@WalesRugby It will be very interesting and difficult if the players decide to not play in protest, autumn internationals soon, imagine the impact and reaction if the players went on the pitch and refused to play, something like that will get the wru listening.

A restored Builth Castle would be pretty impressive in the centre of town!
