@eagle_british That’s a fair point. Maybe due to it being about off world locations it lost some of the relatability for me. Even so I still didn’t really enjoy it 😂, but I’m glad that you did and there are others who do. I’d hate to see the genre die out and the actors don’t deserve the hate

@TommyLew_ Captain Marvel is the person who is supposed to “care” as she is the person who is out in space helping save planets and the skrull. Nobody else cares because it wasn’t their planet in danger. Not everyone has the avengers on their planet lol

Just saw the new movie “The Marvels”. I am shocked at how much I enjoyed the movie. Way better than I expected 👍🏻

@eagle_british Superhero movies don’t always need to be action, of course. But I’d say they need to have tension and excitement in them. Throw away jokes and silliness only gets you so far. Needs to be a balance which is where I feel this one fell short

@eagle_british Idk but I feel with marvel comes with a catastrophe that needs to be solved. The one in this movie was a huge deal but it just never seemed like anyone was majorly concerned. For me, that takes away the excitement and the “super” nature of the movie

@eagle_british I didn’t think there were any real stakes. I’m usually excited and tense in marvel movies but it felt lacking. Performances were fine, I think it’s a writing issue. Agree post credit scene was DOPE but when that’s the highlight there’s something wrong. Just my opinion though.

@TommyLew_ I don’t get what was terrible about this movie. This was about 3 hero’s coming together and learning to Work as a team while overcoming some of their own issues. The story made sense to me and based on the post credits leads to much more cool stuff!

@virginmedia No I have confirmation of the contract emailed to me the day I bought it. I was informed it would automatically replace my old deal and I would NOT be charged the £60 increase for my older, less powerful package

Sorry guys no stream today… @virginmedia have screwed me over! They’ve lost my updated WiFi package despite charging me over 2 weeks ago. Then charged DOUBLE for my old packaged and somehow disabled it at the same time, leaving me with nothing! GREAT service they charge for🙄

@virginmedia Your agents on call were unable to find my upgraded package after checking for an hour. I read the contract to them and they claim to only be able to help me tomorrow. In the mean time I’ve lost a huge sum of money and have no internet at all. I’m extremely disappointed

@James__Modica From this clip alone the terrible CGI takes you completely out the moment. It doesn’t feel real nor supernatural so doesn’t feel placed at all in the movie. It just looks a cheap fake to me. You don’t expect this thin quality from WB and a major film release.

Anyone who has any appreciation or respect for cinema can not defend this. It looks TERRIBLE! So so so bad. If anything it’s offensive a company as big and rich released it to the public looking this way
