@shteveforshure@Daveswufc2@wellingunited 100% agree mate. Steve king is a proven manager. But it’s his demands effectively for him to sign a contract. He would want a budget to spend and get the players he wants and believes in. The board want to run this club on a shoestring budget, which results in what we have now.
@TommyWalklin1@Daveswufc2@wellingunited Even that is total shit too. He managed us to the play off final and way less than the 14k per week bloody Feeney was blowing on dog shit football. One things for sure, even if King had this budget we wouldn't be third bottom
@shteveforshure@Daveswufc2@wellingunited Exactly that mate. The reason why he ain’t welcome back was because he expects a big budget. But guess what. You need to spend money in football to get up the divisions OR even stay in divisions.
@wellingunited PVR should be a fortress. I don’t mind losing if the players leave everything out on the pitch. Run their socks off, show some passion and pride for themselves, the fans and the club. None of that is on show, no pride, no passion, tactically inept, board inept.
@wellingunited So just to put it into perspective. 7 years ago we reached the conference south play off final losing narrowly. Today we are playing in the Isthmian league and have just lost 3-0 at home to CRAY VALLEY PAPER MILLS. And skippy is heading towards the dressing room. Shit show.
@_jakewright_05@wellingunited This a far cry from the welling united we all know. Certain people, arrogant people, have let this club down and lead it down a dark road towards non existence. Depressing.
@wellingunited 16th in the Conference League 11 years ago btw. Lost for words. Some people need to hold their heads in shame. Give me my once proud club back!!
@Gillian02515564@wellingunited Agreed, but you can’t rely on a couple of players to chase. A home game we should dominate and win. I don’t see a gameplan, a formation. Nothing. Only a select few trying.
@WingsFan625 Playing a “young squad” is a poor excuse for We didn’t back the managerial appointment and we didn’t back the manger we hired. Poor from the board.
✍️ Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of forward Tom Leahy.
The 21-year-old joins from Millwall and joins his brother Jack at Park View Road.
Welcome to the Wings family, @TomLeahy29! 🙌

@WingsFan625@wellingunited Bringing on Alabi 🤦🏽♂️. He can’t run, he can’t jump, he can’t hold off defenders, god knows if he can shoot as he can’t get himself into the position to do so. I do not know why he keeps getting a chance.
Welling United can confirm the departure of Assistant Manager, Kevin Watson.
The club would like to thank Kevin for all of his efforts while at Park View Road and wish him all the very best in the future.
