🏟️ CLUB STATEMENT | It's with disappointment that we confirm, Manager Adam Lakeland has decided to leave FC Halifax Town and take up the role of First Team Manager at Morecambe FC. We'd like to put on record our thanks to Adam for his hard work & professionalism this season in guiding us to an 8th place finish, narrowly missing out on the playoffs. @shaymenfans @FCHTOnline There are plenty of clubs below us who are cashless. Ultimately, risk is reward. Yesterdays set up at York, with the QR code and automated turnstiles is the way forward. I just think this club can NOT be taken further without the little things such as a ticketing platform etc.

I think we use Cash only as a way to protect the income & expenditure of the club we have a low support base & if we went to cashless the costs with banks on processing card payment can vary anywhere between debit cards a couple percent or even Amex cards as much as 6%. This kind of overhead would hurt the club, we need support to grow firstly before we can change the infrastructure of the club 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Rochdale Football Club can confirm that this evening’s Enterprise National League match at home to Scunthorpe United has been postponed. A local, qualified referee carried out a second inspection at 2pm today and deemed areas of the pitch to be in an unplayable condition. With the forecast rainfall in mind, we share the opinion that the affected areas will not dry sufficiently ahead of kick-off. Therefore, in agreement with Scunthorpe and The National League, a decision has been taken to postpone the match. We apologise to supporters for any inconvenience. A rearranged date for the game will be announced in due course. #rafc
