People also don't have time to hunt down or watch 30 episodes of a Let's Play, and won't click episode 31 if they haven't seen the first 30. The current state of YouTube exists because Viewers prefer individual isolated long form stories they can watch without homework.

@gamerboyJMac people that freak out in the comments of posts like this going on about a block never stop to use their brains. I pay for premium bc 99% of my yt consumption ISN'T on a desktop/phone. Waiting for ads on the appletv is a fucking horrendous user experience, premium is a godsend
