I somewhat agree with what OP is trying to say, but in my opinion the narrative the webcomic is trying to say isnt the same at all. Forcing 203 into the same sentimental narration of the kdrama wont work. same goes for forcing Moonjo into the webcomic's too

In my opinion, the only similarity between webtoon and series is; they use the same story background and premise. But the stories themselves, are quite different. There’s no Dentist and Author in webtoon. 203, JW and their dynamic…. Is nowhere similar with MJ, JW and their dynamic #StrangersFromHell
