Fair comment, but perhaps one man's slogan is a another man's distillation of the core messages in question. You assert, "Muhammad’s message includes law, mercy, and social order, not just violence." Not just violence? Seriously? Sorry but, Allah is not the same as the God who gave us Jesus.

That’s not an honest comparison, and it flattens both traditions into slogans.Jesus also speaks about judgement, warning, and consequences, not only forgiveness. And Muhammad’s message includes law, mercy, and social order, not just violence. If we reduce either figure to one theme, we end up misrepresenting both. The real issue is how selectively people quote them.

Why do non-Muslims treat the Quran like it's some "war manual" when the Bible is FULL of war commands, conquests, and divine battles? Old Testament has entire chapters on smiting enemies, genocide orders, and holy wars. But suddenly the Quran gets painted as violent? Muslims understand historical context. Non-Muslims just run with their cherry-picked narrative to demonize Islam. Double standards much? Or is it just Islamophobia?

Asylum decisions have quadrupled. The asylum backlog is now down from its peak of 175,000 to 49,000 people awaiting a decision - the lowest level since 2019. More decisions mean more asylum hotel closures and more illegal migrants removed or deported.

Hi Maliq, with respect It is worth noting that in the UK we have 40,000 known very dangerous Islamic extremists on the MI5 watchlist. That means that 1 in 150 Muslims that I might meet will be on that list. More British Muslims joined Isis than the British army, & recent polls suggest that 16% of British Muslim support Isis. The UAE now warns its own students not to enrol at UK Universities because of the high chances of being radicalised. I'm sorry, but there is no other 'community' that poses such a high risk to the average citizen. This is not acceptable & cannot be allowed to continue.

Muslims are not dangerous. We are human beings like everyone else, with families, love, care, and ordinary lives. Our faith teaches compassion, not hatred. Our Prophet taught respect and mercy. Yes, there are a few extremists who distort our religion and bring shame to it, but they do not represent the vast majority of Muslims. So why is it that many still get profiled and treated as suspects? Is it fear, or hate?

As a Muslim, it absolutely BREAKS my heart. 💔 A day doesn’t go by without someone shouting “Allahu Akbar” while slaughtering innocent people. We are ALWAYS at the centre of it. Always the suspects. Always the excuses. When will the world stop pretending this isn’t a problem within parts of our own community? This shame is exhausting.

'It's specifically happened because of the action that the Chancellor took in the Budget last year' Dan Tomlinson MP, Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury, spoke to #BBCBreakfast after a fall in energy bills led to a drop in inflation to 2.8% in the 12 months to April bbc.co.uk/news/live/c5y9…

Inflation is down today, in part thanks to action we've taken on energy bills. But the price of electricity is still set by global gas rates, despite half of our electricity coming from renewables. So we're taking steps to fix that too. Let me explain 👇

Good news: inflation has fallen today. Our action to reduce energy bills - with the price cap dropping by £117 - means inflation is now lower. There’s more to do - this government is delivering for Britain.

In the UK there are 40,000 plus known Islamic extremists on the MI5 watchlist. So, approximately 1 out of 150 Muslims I might cross paths with is one of those very dangerous people. Our multi-ethnic society generally rubs along pretty well but unfortunately there's one group that talks openly about domination & supremacy. This cannot be allowed to continue.

Some Christians quote “love thy neighbour” every day online, yet the moment Muslims are mentioned, the hatred starts pouring out nonstop. At some point, actions expose the heart.

With Reform UK, it's always about 'looking after our own' until it comes to feeding children. Labour is providing over 6,400 children across Kent County Council with free breakfast clubs. Reform UK literally want to take the food from their mouths. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…
