I recently met Brandon who shared his moving story about being rescued during Hurricane Melissa. Brandon lost both of his arms after being electrocuted while trying to help someone in need. During Hurricane Melissa, he faced another frightening experience when he was trapped in his home. The Government was able to mobilize and rescue him. On Friday, Brandon became a beneficiary of our ROOFS Programme, where he is able to rebuild his home following recent damage. Brandon’s life shows that helping others has meaning, even in difficult moments, and that obstacles do not have to define you and can shape a greater purpose.

To say Sly was unique is an understatement. His vision was ordained, the work ethic was tireless no matter the success - the way he was on the cutting edge of music and tech. THE pioneer. He studied everything and was always a few steps ahead. I was always in awe in his presence. One of the most gentle human beings you could meet, his wit and banter were unsurpassed.
